The short version: It’s the antithesis of The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul.
The longer version? It’s that feeling of being utterly content and in harmony with the universe. The sun’s shining down, you’ve snagged your favourite beach lounger, there’s a cool breeze blowing, and there’s a plate of rawa-fry prawns beckoning you. You walk with a spring in your step, and puppies love you. The only thing on your schedule for the rest of the day is a sunset stroll on the beach, followed by a gig at a pub, and perhaps, a quick stop at a cutlet van on the walk back home. All’s well with the world. As it should be.
