The Assagao Shirt

Once known for its bumper crops of flowers, the village of Assagao has seen a lot change. But till just a few years ago, we’d drive past rows of old houses with the most gorgeous blooms (oh the fuchsia bougainvillea!). Combined with the tiled roofs and the traditional windows, it made it all so picture-perfect. This Artist Edit print is a retelling of that golden era: think mother-of-pearl windows with white frangipani flowers that still exist in some quiet, forgotten pockets of Assagao, Goa’s very own ‘village of flowers’.
